In the Spring of 2022 the members of Seaford Museum were asked to share their reminiscences of food in their earlier lives, family recipes and any culinary experiences which were significant for them.

Recipes and Reminiscences is the result. An eclectic mix of memories, favourite recipes, local dining and stories of cookery successes and disasters.

The museum team also accessed material from its archives and recipe books from the mid-20th Century.

Local restaurants, cafes and the prestigious Esplanade Hotel are included.

Other books on local history are available at the Museum plus a range of affordable gifts for Christmas.
