PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS UNDERWAY FOR THE SALTS CAFE & SEAFORD CRICKET CLUB

February 22nd, 2023.

Seaford Town Council is always keen to work with tenants, residents and other key partners to ensure continued improvement of services in appropriate ways for the town.

Upon receiving two requests from tenants to expand on their services, the Town Council is now keen to hear feedback from members of the public on these requests. This feedback will help inform the Town Council’s decision making processes.

The two requests are very different in nature but both relate to The Salts Recreation Ground.

Seaford Cricket Club has submitted a request to build a new storage garage adjacent to the current changing room and clubhouse buildings.

The tenant of the Salts Café, Pappachino’s, has submitted a request to the Town Council for permission to offer private function hire, as well as selling alcohol.

There is a page on the Town Council’s website providing relevant details on both proposals and a comments option for any responses people wish to make on the plans.

The public consultation period is running from the 17th of February to the 13th of March 2023. The details of the proposals are available digitally as well as in paper format, to maximise the level of public feedback received.

There are also paper copies of these documents available to view in Seaford Tourist Information Centre and The View, with comments forms that can be completed and returned.
