Newhaven Lifeboat Station is kicking off the festive season with the annual Newhaven Lifeboat Christmas Fayre, a vital fundraiser for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea.

The Fayre will be held on Sunday, November the 30th, from 10:00am though to 3:00pm at Seahaven Academy, Haven Way, BN9 9TD.

This year's event promises a perfect mix of traditional festive fun and prizes, designed to appeal to families and residents of all ages.

Highlights of the Fayre include:

Santa’s Grotto: Bring the children to meet Santa Claus in his grotto and receive a special gift

Grand Prize Draw: The chance to win fabulous prizes, including a luxurious Christmas hamper and generous local gift vouchers.

Stalls and Shopping: Browse a selection of stalls featuring homemade crafts, baked goods, and gifts - perfect for finding unique Christmas presents - and games for everyone to play.

Family Entertainment: Kids can enjoy fairground rides and get creative at a dedicated festive crafts station.

Food and Drink: Warm up with delicious food, including hot chocolate, spicy mulled wine, waffles, burgers and festive mince pies.

Live Performances: The Fayre will feature live entertainment and music throughout the day, ensuring a joyful atmosphere.

Due to limited parking at the school, a shuttle bus service will be running regularly from Lower Place directly to Seahaven Academy.

Every penny raised at the Fayre goes directly toward supporting the dedicated volunteers and essential equipment of the Newhaven RNLI crew, helping them continue their mission to patrol the coast and save lives.
