Havens Food Cooperative is hosting community meal sessions this month with support from Lewes District Food Partnership and Peacehaven Town Council.

The free of charge sessions are open to all and will feature meals made from surplus food, plus games and activities and various visiting support services each week. Sessions will be run from the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven and Ascension Church Hall in Peacehaven on the following dates:

Wednesday 21st February, 3:30- 5:30pm (Hillcrest Centre, Newhaven)

Thursday 29th February, 12-2pm (Hillcrest Centre, Newhaven)

Thursday 7th March 12-2pm (Hillcrest Centre, Newhaven)

Friday 15th March 3:30-5:30pm (Ascension Church Hall, Peacehaven)

Friday 22nd March, 3:30-5:30pm (Ascension Church Hall, Peacehaven)

Thursday 28th March- 12-2pm (Ascension Church Hall, Peacehaven)

Visiting Support services will include; East Sussex Fire and Rescue (21st Feb) offering home fire safety support, Tech Resort (29th Feb) offering IT and technology support, Citizens Advice (7th March), offering general support, Ovesco (15th and 28th March) offering energy support and Care for the Carers (22nd March) offering support for those in caring roles.
