Twelve members of the Friends of Tide Mills held their March meeting on Sunday and three bags of assorted rubbish were recovered, together with a bag of recyclable material and various heavier items.

It was heartening for us to be joined by several members of the public this time too.

There are early signs of emerging vegetated shingle plants and we have also now reinstated our Ringed Plover Nesting signs for this year's breeding season. As always, we respectfully ask visitors to keep out of the signed area and, in particular, to keep dogs under close control.

Our next meeting is Sunday the 16th of April, from 9.00am through to 11.00am
