Eight members of the Friends of Tide Mills enjoyed their August meeting in very fine Summer conditions yesterday.

Just one sack of assorted items were collected this time, which is very pleasing indeed.

Unfortunately, there has been a graffiti attack on one of the Port Nature Reserve interpretation signs. We have also received complaints regarding the misuse of the area near to the East Pier from major camps along this stretch of the bay. Because there are absolutely no facilities available for campers, it needs no imagination to realise the consequences of this Summer phenomenon...

Our next meeting is on the 21st of September.
