BARNARDO'S TEAMS UP WITH NEWHAVEN STORAGE COMPANY TO HELP VULNERABLE CHILDREN

January 28th, 2020.

Barnardo’s has partnered up with StorageMart in Newhaven to help support vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the local community and beyond.

Barnardo’s has teamed up with the storage company which provides self-storage space on New Road in Newhaven. Staff will raise funds and donate time to support the charity and children in the community.

StorageMart will provide space for local Barnardo’s services if it is needed and staff will have opportunities to volunteer locally, such as by doing gardening or decorating if required. Fundraising activities will include running and challenge events and the organisation will donate £15 from each online review of their UK sites.

Paul Beard, Regional Fundraising Manger for Barnardo’s said: “We are delighted to be partnering up with StorageMart who are focussed on building strong relationships and giving something back to the community. It is this ethos which makes them a perfect partner for Barnardo’s.”

Dan Saunders, StorageMart Regional Director (UK) said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with a charity that makes such a long, lasting, and positive impact on young people’s lives.

“Partnering with Barnardo’s will give us opportunities to not just raise money for much needed services in our community, but will also encourage our store teams to get involved with events and fundraising activities to create a closer and more meaningful involvement in our communities.”
