The annual St John’s Church  Flower Festival at Piddinghoe is taking place on Saturday, July the 4th, and Sunday, July the 5th. Running from 11:00am to 4:00pm on both days, this year's  event is embracing imagination with its official theme: "Anything Goes."

The festival promises a colourful and diverse showcase of floral arrangements from across the community. Organisers are placing a special emphasis on younger participants this year, featuring a dedicated section specifically for children to bring and showcase their own blooming displays.

For those wishing to contribute an arrangement to the festival, drop-off times are scheduled at the church on Friday evening between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, or Saturday morning starting at 9:00am.

Beyond the visual spectacle, the weekend serves a vital practical cause for the historic church. Attendees will be able to purchase traditional cream teas and homemade cakes throughout the event, with all proceeds going directly toward the St John’s heating fund to help maintain the building through the colder months.
