PUBLIC MEETING - PLANNING APPLICATION FOR NEWHAVEN PORT EAST QUAY AGGREGATE PROCESSING PLANT


November 20th, 2017.


Brett Aggregates has submitted a planning application for the construction and use of an aggregate processing plant, aggregate bagging plant, concrete batching plant, concrete block-making plant and buildings, ancillary offices and stores at Fisher’s Wharf, Newhaven Port.


Newhaven residents are invited to attend a Public Meeting on Tuesday the 28th of November from 7.00pm at Shakespeare Hall, Fort Road in Newhaven, to see the plans and discuss them with Newhaven town councillors.

The town council’s Planning & Development Committee will meet immediately after at the same venue to agree the town council’s response to the planning application.

The decision as to whether to grant planning permission for this application will be taken by East Sussex County Council at a later date.

The deadline for public comments on the application is the 22nd of December 2017
