Could you keep someone company for just a few hours a week to give their Carer a break? You could read together, have a game of cards, just have a chat or whatever makes you both happy! Without your help, that Carer may never have a break and be unbelievably isolated. You would be fully trained, supported and expenses would be reimbursed. If you’re not that fit yourself, don’t worry as there is no personal care involved and you could even get a lift if you don't drive.

The Association of Carers is also looking for people to help a Carer with their computer in their own home, and also volunteers to provide a telephone support service…this all from the comfort of your own arm chair!
