Newhaven Historical Society's next presentation is Quirky Sussex, an illustrated talk by local historian Kevin Gordon covering some unusual aspects of the county and some quirky Sussex people.

Although there is plenty of historic quirkiness, there are also some modern oddities - from dire warnings of drunkenness, taxidermy and bikes with five wheels.

The presentation takes place on Tuesday the 6th of June at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven.

Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start
