May 29th, 2017.

Seaford Twinning Association's social event for June is an alternative History Walk around the town led by the Town Crier. It will look at some of the stranger aspects of the Cinque Port's rich past, and uncover a few surprises.

The walk starts at Seaford Station at 2.00pm. on Saturday the 3rd of June. Everyone is welcome to join in for a modest £4.00. It will finish at the Martello Tower, the home of Seaford Museum.

The STA's Plauschgruppe, the German Conversation Group, will meet in June at The View. Anyone is welcome to join them between 10.00am and noon on Wednesday the 28th. Non-members are asked for a £2.00 donation to the funds.

The Plauschgruppe has an evening meeting at the White Lion on Wednesday July the 19th, between 7.00pm and 9.30pm. This is Steak Night at the pub. Costs are the same.

Detail of all the above events can be had from chairman Peter White on 01323 897360.

During June a group of members will be making a five-day visit to Crivitz in Germany. This town, formerly in East Germany, is twinned with Seaford's twin-town Bönningstedt.
