NEWHAVEN TEACHERS MEET SIR TONY ROBINSON AT TECHNOLOGY FAIR

January 31st, 2017.

Two teachers from Harbour Primary School in Newhaven were invited to meet one of the UK's best-loved actors at a major technology event in London last week.

Head Teacher Christine Terrey and teacher Matthew Wright met with actor and broadcaster Sir Tony Robinson at London's Bett Show on Thursday.

Sir Tony was speaking at the event - the world's biggest education technology show - in partnership with Discovery Education. The Newhaven teachers were delighted to meet with the actor before he took to the stage. They spent time chatting and received a signed copy of his latest book 'No Cunning Plan.'

Christine Terrey, Head Teacher said: "BETT is a very inspirational event with lots of new technologies, fresh ideas and innovative teaching strategies on display. It was also very inspirational to have the opportunity to meet Tony Robinson on the Discovery stand and to take away a copy of his book to read. Thank you so much Discovery Education!"
