East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is offering free business safety training to local companies and particularly wants to support small or medium sized businesses and independent traders.

A fire that closes you down even if only temporarily could make a huge difference to your business, not to mention the potential costs and damage to your reputation if you are found liable or the human cost should someone be killed or seriously injured.

Introduction to Business Fire Safety is a half day course, full of information and real life case studies.

Aimed at employers and people who own or manage a business premises, it is designed to get you up to speed on Fire Safety Law and its implications as well as an overview of Fire Risk Assessment and what that means to you. You will be provided with useful information and guidance to keep and use in the workplace.

The sessions take place on:
• 6 September 9.30 - 1pm Lewes Community Fire Station, North Street Lewes, BN7 2PE (supported by Lewes Chamber of Commerce).

• 7 September 9.30 – 1pm Bohemia Road Community Fire Station, Hastings, TN34 1EX

• 8 September 9.30 – 1pm Eastbourne Community Fire Station, Whitley Rd, Eastbourne, BN22 8LA
