NEW DIRECTORS AT SEAHAVEN FM

April 18 2016.

Seahaven FM held its 2016 AGM recently and appointed two new directors to its board; Norman Baker and Malcolm Beck.

Former MP Norman Baker has been a presenter on the station with his Sunday morning show from its earliest days and can also be seen and heard with his band The Reform Club. Malcolm Beck, a retired customer services IT director joined the station just over two years ago to help out with the administration. He decided to undertake on-air training and is now presenting two shows each week, including his own show on Sunday evening, as well as continuing his work in the office.

Announcing the appointments, MD Nick Mallinson said: “We are really pleased to have both Norman and Malcolm join us on the Board of Directors. Both have valuable skills that the station will benefit from and we look forward to working with them both.”

Seahaven FM recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and has seen a steady growth of listeners and new volunteers helping to run the station. Former Sovereign Radio presenters Ryan Millns and Chris Copeland have recently joined the station.

There are also a number of new team members who have not had any previous experience now taking training and listeners will be able to hear them on-air in the not too distant future.

Tune in to Seahaven FM on 96.3 in Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven and parts of Lewes and also online via the website at www.seahavenfm.com
