Fundraising in aid of RNLI Newhaven continues in earnest and last week Newhaven & District Lifeboat Society hosted the annual Quiz Night, with Fish and Chips from Newhaven Fish Bar, South Road at Newhaven Lifeboat House.

The Lifeboat House was at full capacity with a quizzical crowd of 16 teams along to have fun and enjoy the evening, with quiz mistress Lyn Davies maintaining the usual good order.

 The evening exceeded expectations, raising an amazing £400.10.

The next fundraising event is the Sovereign Seas Folk Festival over the weekend of Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of April, which will see Folk group Hard Pressed, as well as other invited guests including internationally acclaimed singer songwriter John Conolly, performing at Newhaven Lifeboat House, Riverside, West Quay in aid of RNLI Newhaven.
