UPDATE - A number of readers have pointed out that I made a mistake on the date of the AGM  in the earlier posting of this story - My fault entirely, so sorry to confuse - It should have read the 2nd of FEBRUARY, not April. Updated below now. Thanks to all. Andy.

Newhaven Historical Society holds its Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm this Tuesday, the 2nd of February at the Hillcrest Centre.

Following the meeting there will be a illustrated presentation by local historian Ian Everest about the villages and farms in the lower Ouse Valley between Lewes and the sea.

Old photographs and cine film will feature the agricultural, aviation, sporting and artistic heritage of the area, and the audience will also find out about Mount Misery, Muggery Pope and Shannon Lass.!

Guests are welcome - £2.00 entry fee.
