NEWHAVEN POLICE ON THE MOVE

The Neighbourhood Policing Team and public contact point, currently based at South Road, Newhaven, will soon be moving over and up the road to a new shared site at Saxon House, Meeching Road, Newhaven
.

Chief Inspector Rob Leet, Lewes District Commander, said: "From Monday the 18th of January the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be working alongside Lewes District Council and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service at a shared site. This partnership working will allow the public to access a range of services from one place.

"Saxon House will be the new public contact point in Newhaven. Alongside policing services the public will also be able to access Lewes District Council services such as council tax, planning and housing enquiries."

The new facility will be open to the public between 10am and 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.
