SINGING FOR CTLA

Local performers raised over £600 at a fundraising musical matinee last Saturday at the Barn Theatre in Seaford, to support the only Community Transport charity in the Haven's area, CTLA .


Entertainers included top Elton John tribute artist, Sam Hughes, the winner of the Dean Factor 2015, Gemma Albrow, singer/songwriter Kate Horscraft and cabaret artist Jack West. East Sussex Youth Award Finalist Ali Gibson performed solo for the first time and Julie's Art of Noise founder, Julie Terry, wowed the crowd with 50's rock and roll numbers.

Seaford and Newhaven Mayors, Cllrs Dave Argent and Steve Saunders, along with CTLA General Manager Derek Barnett, welcomed Maria Caulfield to the Barn Theatre and the local area MP described the performances as 'excellent'.
