FINALISTS GALORE FOR COMMUNITY THEATRE PUPILS

The finalists have been announced for the East Sussex Youth Awards (ESYA), sponsored by Sussex Downs College and Youth Community Theatre group Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors (SMTJ) are reeling from having nine of their members picked from hundreds of entries received.


The Awards looks to reward young people aged 13 and 25 who have gone the extra mile and achieved extraordinary things, whether in education, the arts, or within their community in support of those in need.

There are 16 categories covering a range of topics from education, community, the arts, sports and achievement.

The event, hosted by Radio DJ's Dan Gasser and Lynsey Bartlett, will take place on Friday the 27th of November at the Winter Gardens, Eastbourne.

Gabrielle Edwards  - Student of the Year (13-17) 
Monique Loosemore - Music
Dani Mac - Young Volunteer / Fundraiser
Josh Henry - Arts/Media and Personal Achievement
Charli Finch - Drama
Karla Marsland - Young Achiever
Kyle Woolven - Young Sportsperson of the Year
SMTJ Fairytale Entertainment Team - Young Volunteer / Fundraiser
Rebecca Woolven - Entrepreneur and Bravery
