AGE CONCERN RECEIVED NEW DISPLAY SHELVING
November 13 2015.
Friday the 6th of November saw the charity shop of Age Concern Seaford in Church Street visited by the President, Chairman and Treasurer of the Seahaven Branch of The Royal Society of St George. Their purpose was to present a cheque to cover the cost of the provision of new shelving to enhance the display of goods in the shop.
The new shelving is now in use and gives a clean, neat means to show visitors what is available to buy, the proceeds of which go to enhance their volunteer work.
Age Concern Seaford provides a wide range of activities in the area, including lunch clubs, a forum, providing information and advice, as well as visiting and helping people not feel lonely. The Charity is always on the look out for more volunteers to help with this work and will welcome visitors to the shop.

St George President, Laurie Holland said: "One aspect of our work with St George that I particularly like is the ability we have to buy gifts for local charities or other worthwhile causes. Age Concern does a tremendous job locally, and it is a privilege for us to help out where we can."
