Sussex Police are seeking help to identify two men they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a purse from a shopper at Paradise Park in Newhaven earlier this month.

The black zipped purse with red and green floral motifs was stolen from the handbag of a 75-year-old woman between 12.30pm and 2.00pm on Saturday the 3rd of October. It contained £100 cash, bank cards and a driving licence and is believed to have been taken after the victim was distracted by a man bumping into her.

Anyone able to identify either of the men pictured, or who may have other information about the incident, is requested to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 857 of 03/10.

Alternatively  contact the independent charity Crimestoppers without having to leave a name on 0800 555 111.
