Last Sunday turned out to be a glorious summer’s day for the Rotary Club of Seaford's monthly Car Boot, Craft and Produce Fair at the Martello Fields. It was great to spot a brollie for the sun not rain!

Almost 80 sellers turned up and we had rows and rows of various things for sale and to eat. The excellent weather also brought in the crowds and the stall holders reported very good sales. We were able to hand out our new leaflets for 2016 which gave the dates for next year and the good news that pitch fees will remain at £8.00.

For the record, our Fairs for 2016 will be held on May 22nd, June 12th, July 3rd, August 7th, September 4th and October 2nd 2016. Remember though, we still have two Fairs remaining for this year, on September 6th and October 4th, so why not turn up with those things you would like to sell or come and browse the stalls for that bargain. If you would like a pitch simply turn up on the day at 7:30am – there is no need to book.

We thank the public for their generous donations and also all those who helped make this our best Fair yet, with almost £1,000 raised for our charities.
