At a Working Party meeting of Seaford Town Council held on the 15th of July, attended by the Leader of Lewes District Council, Rob Blackman, it was agreed that the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the full Council, involving public participation, which initially was planned for the 29th of July at the request of Cllr. Mark Brown, Cllr. Sam Adeniji and Cllr. Alan Latham, should be postponed.

This is to ensure maximum benefit is obtained from the ‘drop-in’ meeting organised by LDC the day before and that Seaford Town Council is able to provide as comprehensive information as possible to members of the public at the EGM.

Seaford Town Council would like to stress the importance of concerned residents attending the Lewes District Council drop-in consultation event on the 28th of July from 4.00pm to 8.00pm at the Downs Leisure Centre. It is anticipated the EGM will take place during the first week of September.
