WITNESSES SOUGHT FOR SERIOUS THREE CAR CRASH ON THE C7 YESTERDAY


June 8 2015.

Two men suffered serious injuries after being involved in a collision between three cars yesterday evening. A blue Jaguar XKR was travelling south towards Newhaven on the C7 near  Northease Manor School at around 7.00pm when it lost control and crossed onto the other side of the road. A red Dacia Sandero, travelling in the opposite direction, tried to avoid colliding with the Jaguar and left the road, ending up going down a steep embankment. The Jaguar then collided head on with a black Volkswagen Passat.


The driver of the Jaguar, a 38-year-old man from Newhaven and his passenger, a 64-year-old man from Seaford, were both taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Dacia, a 21-year-old woman and her passenger, a 20-year-old woman, both from Lewes, suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen, a 36-year-old man from Newhaven, also suffered minor injuries.
