ST GEORGE BACKS DENTON CHALLENGE

June 4 2015.

The Denton Community Challenge takes place next Saturday, June the 6th, at Avis Road Field opposite Tates Garage from 1.00pm trough to 5.00pm.

At the pre-event committee meeting and meeting of stall holders that took place this Monday, members of the Seahaven Branch of The Royal Society of St. George visited to present the rosettes to be awarded at the event. This is the second year that the branch has been invited to sponsor this aspect of the challenge.

Seahaven Branch of The Royal Society of St. George Chairman Bob Peedle MBE said: "We are pleased to help out with worthwhile local events with gifts where we are able, and the Denton Challenge will be raising funds for some important local charities. It is a privilege to be allowed to have a small part in this great effort."

The charities this year are Denton Church, The James Daniels Memorial Fund, and the Friends and Associates of Denton School.
