DRIFTWOOD SEASON STARTER

June 1 2015.

Geoff Stonebanks’s award-winning Driftwood garden in Bishopstone will be opened to the public again from Tuesday June the 9th in a bid to raise even more money for charity.

Driftwood is opening to the public for the seventh year in a row, having raised almost £50,000 for good causes.

The stunning garden in Marine Drive has appeared on national television and in many local, national and European magazines and newspapers.

Geoff will be opening four times for the National Gardens Scheme this summer - June 9th and 25th, July 7th and August 9th - once for the RNLI (August 2nd) and charity PSPA (August 8th), along with his fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support (August 25th and 26th) and the Seaford Mayor’s charities (June 21st) for 2015, Seaford Lifeguards and CTLA Community Transport.

Geoff explains, “The high spot this summer will be when TV gardener Christine Walkden will visit the garden to open the Macmillan Garden Trail on the 25th of July.”

Visitors comments on the website testify to the beautiful garden Geoff has achieved with his eye for design, describing it as a must see.

All the details of garden open days can be found on the garden website at www.driftwoodbysea.co.uk with the first opening on 9th of June.
