Burlesque and Music Hall variety acts fascinated and entertained over 200 audience members at the Barn Theatre last week. Sussex By The Sea, written and directed by veteran of the London Musical Hall stage, Graham Tubb, featured music by Lionel Bart, Noel Coward and other favourites from times gone by.

Scenes ranged from the Seaford bay to the end of the pier in Brighton, and sketches and songs were filled with colourful costumes and raucous laughter.

The next show is a one-night only fundraiser on Saturday the 13th of June with proceeds going to restoration work at the Barn Theatre. Headliners is another variety show that promises to delight and thrill the audience.
