FRIENDS OF TIDEMILLS MAY REPORT

May 18 2015.

Jim Skinner reports:

The Friends of Tide Mills completed its May meeting yesterday, where 16 of us managed to collect ten bags of general litter, plus some larger items.

The whole Tide Mills area is currently looking very pleasant, with vast amounts of sea kale growing this year. Ringed Plovers can be seen towards the back of the beach. We are not sure about any chicks at the moment, but hopefully this will be another successful year for these little birds.

Our next meeting is Sunday the 21st June, always the third Sunday of the month. We meet between 10.00am and 12noon, but any time that can be spared is appreciated just the same.
