ELECTION RESULTS FOR LEWES DISTRICT COUNCIL


May 15 2015.


Following the local district elections the Conservative Party Group has overall control of Lewes District Council with the make-up of the 41 wards as follows:


• 24 Conservative Party Group
• 11 Liberal Democrat
• 3 Green Party
• 2 Independent
• 1 UKIP

The average turn-out was 71.22%. Full results for each individual ward can be found at www.lewes.gov.uk

At the Council meeting taking place on Wednesday 20 May at 2.30pm, the Leader of the Council will be formally elected for a term of four years.

The Leaders of the Liberal Democrat Group, Green Party and Independent Group will be announced by the Chair of the Council during the meeting.
