DISNEY DELIGHTS

April 20 2015.

A packed audience including the Mayor of Seaford, Councillor Mark Brown, rose to their feet to give a standing ovation to the cast of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jnr. at the final performance on Sunday.

Multi award-winning Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors (SMTJ), who perform at the Barn Theatre in Seaford, delighted over 400 people with sparkling costumes, creative sets and harmonious vocals. Director Paula Woolven praised the cast and crew, including Musical Director Phil McMullen, Choreographer Stuart Hall and Assistant Directors Michaela Twaits and Sarah Eaton.

SMTJ, who were winners of the Spark Award 2014, are the only community charity theatre group for young people in the Havens area and have over eighty members aged between 6-17. They are an accredited provider of Vinspired awards for youth volunteering and build confidence through performance based learning.
