TIDE MILLS APRIL CLEAN-UP REPORT

April 20 2015.

Jim Skinner reports:

The Friends of Tide Mills completed it's April meeting yesterday in a very bracing breeze to say the least. Eighteen supporters, including several very welcome new members, managed to collect a miserly nine sacks of rubbish.

The whole area is very pleasingly almost completely clear of litter at the moment and long may this continue! If everybody could take home just one piece of litter, what a major difference it would make. We are very grateful to all visitors to this special place who do undertake to do this. Many thanks to you all.

Our next meeting is Sunday the 17th of May, (always the third Sunday of each month), meeting at 10.00am at the Waymarker adjacent to the beach at the road leading from the level crossing.

Our meetings last nominally for two hours, but all are welcome no matter how much time can be spared. Please do join us, as we really are seeing major progress now in the care of this wonderful place.
