The Community Space Garden at Lewes Road Hut, near the Jolly Boatman pub, invites residents to join in a number of activities each Thursday from noon through to 2.00pm.

Tomorrow, Thursday the 26th, there is a Sowing and Planting session and a free Mosaic Craft Session where you can help to create an ornamental paving slab for the Community Space Garden. All materials and tools will be provided and the session will be run by Hayley Cox. You will be involved in creating the mosaic using coloured glass and ceramic stones and tiles. A template will be drawn and individuals can add designs to form the final piece. Small pieces can be taken home.

There is a free fresh lunch at 12.30 for volunteers.

Coming up on Thursday the 2nd of April there is a planting session and volunteer meeting, and the on Thursday the 9th of April there is a weeding session.

Whatever your level of interest or experience or the time you have available you are welcome.
