QUIZ NIGHT SUPPORTS CANINE PARTNERS

March 20 2015.

Seahaven FM is staging a quiz night to help raise funds for Canine Partners, a charity that trains assistance dogs to help people with disabilities enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life with their specially trained dogs.

The event will take place at the brand new Seaford Head Golf Club House in Southdown Road next Thursday, the 26th of March, from 7.30 pm onwards. It promises to be a fun-packed night with a chance to test your knowledge and a £50 cash prize for the winning team. There will also be a raffle and an auction to buy the chance for a trip to visit the Houses of Parliament and enjoy tea on the terrace. Tickets are on sale now priced at £6.00 each and teams of up to four can take part.

Jane Grant, Regional Fundraiser at Canine Partners, said: “We are delighted that Seahaven FM is hosting a quiz night in aid of our Charity as we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations. We hope everyone has a fantastic time in helping raise funds to train more assistance dogs to transform the lives of people with disabilities.”

Seahaven FM managing director Nick Mallinson said: “We are always keen to work closely with other not-for-profit community groups active in the Seahaven Area that make a positive contribution to the lives of local people. We are also delighted to be able to hold this event in the new Seaford Head Golf Club. This quiz night is the first in a series of events we will be undertaking throughout the year as part of our new Joint Fundraising initiative.”
