As part of National Community Clear up day, Friends of Riverside Park are organising a ‘Spring Clean’ of Riverside Park in Newhaven this Saturday, March the 21st  between 11.30am and 2.00pm. The event will be based in Lewes Road Hut, where volunteers can collect bags, gloves and pickers provided by Lewes District Council to help tidy up the site.  

There will be tea, coffee, cake and a Random Raffle in the Hut as well as a ‘Spot the…’ challenge for children, including lucky dip prizes.  

People are also welcome to drop in to speak to Lewes District Council Animal Control Officers or local PCSOs who will also be attending.  

Before the Spring Clean, Friends of Riverside Park will be holding their AGM in the Hut at 11.ooam. All are welcome to attend.
