Newhaven Chamber of Commerce President Annie Lorys was invited to a Small Business Champion Reception at 11 Downing Street last week at the invitation of The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne.

Annie was nominated by prospective Tory Parliamentary candidate Maria Caulfield as a ‘Small Business Champion’ from the Lewes area.

George Osborne spoke individually to everyone there and said that he was very grateful to all small business owners who are the real engine of growth in the economy.
