£4000 RAISED FOR COMMUNITY TRANSPORT CHARITY BUS

February 10 2015.

The Haven's Mayors were united in their support for the launch of a new community bus appeal last Saturday at Deans Place Hotel in Alfriston.

'Get On Board' 2015 aims to replace the CTLA accessible minibus used by residents in Newhaven, Seaford, Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs.

The launch dinner event raised in excess of £4,000 of the £50,000 fundraising target set by the East Sussex charity and guests enjoyed performances from vocalist Lamiah Davey, Britain's Got Talent Semi-Finalist Sam Jones and Julie's Art of Noise.

CTLA undertakes over forty thousand passenger journeys each year for residents of the four towns.

You can donate online to the 'Get On Board' campaign at: www.localgiving.com/getonboard or by sending donations to CTLA, Hillcrest Centre, Hillcrest Road, Newhaven, BN9 9EA.
