January 22 2015.

Police searching for missing Seaford boy Rhys Millerchip have arrested a woman in Warwickshire on suspicion of conspiracy to abduct a child in care.

Fourteen-year-old Rhys has not been seen since he left Seaford town centre to walk to his nearby address on the morning of Tuesday, December the 30th.

In the early hours this morning, Warwickshire Police arrested a 33-year-old woman from Nuneaton on suspicion of conspiracy to abduct a child in care. She remaines in custody this afternoon.

Rhys is white, 5' 7", of slim build, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black Nike trainers and a khaki green zip-up jacket.

Police are concerned for Rhys's welfare because of his age and consequent vulnerability and believe that he may be in Warwickshire and in particular, the Nuneaton area.

He also has family and friends in the Sidcup and Welling areas of south-east London, where enquiries are also being made.

Anyone who has seen him or who knows where he might be is asked to call police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1116 of 30/12.
