CHARITY SUPPORTS YOUNG DANCERS

January 11 2015.

Aspiring young dancers at multi-award winning Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors (SMTJ) have been given a boost with a donation from the James Daniels Memorial Fund.

SMTJ director, Paula Woolven, explained: "We are really grateful to the James Daniels Memorial Fund for the sponsorship of our dance workshops for 2015. Besides being great fun, dancing has many health benefits for young people. It improves flexibility, strength and endurance and gives a strong sense of well-being. Making new friends and socialising in the classes contributes to a high self-esteem and a positive outlook for our members."

The James Daniels Memorial Fund was set up after sports-loving 19 year old James passed away in a car crash in 2005. He was studying for a degree in PE and teaching at Chichester University and his parents, Paul and Sarah, set up the fund to support community activities that help other young people, in memory of James. They have helped dozens of good causes in their area over the last nine years.
