Seaford Rotary Club has announced that its next Young Musician competition will be held on Sunday the 1st of March at Seaford Head School. The competition is open to anyone aged between 11 and 17 and who either lives or goes to school in Seaford.

This year, for the first time, there will be two separate competitions, Young Musician of the Year and Young Ensemble of the Year. The aim of the competition is to give youngsters the opportunity to perform in public and to develop their musical talents.

Copies of the Rules and Entry forms are available from the Music Department or Student Services at Seaford Head School or can be downloaded from the Rotary Club of Seaford website at or email to request an information pack.

The Rotary Club is also accepting entries for its Young Photographers competition which is divided into three age groups, 7 to 10, 11 to 13, and 14 to 17 years. Full details are also on the Club's website or may be obtained from Fotobox in Broad Street the sponsor of the competition.
