Danielle McDonald is a 17 year old member of the multi-award winning Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors community theatre group who attended an NCS course in East Sussex this summer.

NCS is a government funded initiative that supports community engagement and social integration among young people and Dani credits both the course and her theatre group for helping her to gain confidence and life skills.

Putting together a family quiz afternoon for forty people at The Hampden Arms in South Heighton last week, Dani chose questions for all ages and raised just over £200 to support the work of SMT Juniors.

Theatre Director, Paula Woolven, said: "We are very proud of the development and commitment to helping others that Dani has shown this year and she sets a great example for young people everywhere."
