Last week my Mum dropped a small handbag in the car park outside LIDL in Newhaven. She realised she did not have the bag when she reached the checkout and thinking she might have forgotten it went home to check. On returning to the store she discovered that it had been handed in to the LIDL store manager. She is hugely grateful for this kind deed and says it has restored her faith in human nature. 

She has no way of saying thank you as this kind person didn’t leave their name – any chance you guys at Haven News might say it for her?
