Roys Liquor Store manager, Viki Funnell, was angry to read that the Community Transport charity (CTLA), used by many of her elderly customers, was targeted by thieves in September, putting two vital vehicles out of action.

By asking staff and customers for donations, Viki helped to raise £100 towards the repair bills for the vehicles which was handed over to the charity last Friday.

CTLA Community and Fundraising Manager, Paula Woolven, thanked Viki and her team for their support, adding that the public's positive response to the theft had helped to raise the spirits of the volunteers and staff at the charity.
