MAYOR OPENS NEW HOPSCOTCH NURSERY GARDEN

October 22 2014.

Mayor of Seaford, Mark Brown was invited to Hopscotch Nursery last week to cut the ribbon at the opening of its renovated outdoor play area. Parents and children enjoyed their first view of the new equipment and all-weather
surfacing including a tunnel mound, adventure climbing frame, tee-pee, musical instruments panels, large sandpit, and seating area under the trees.

Nursery manager Gemma Middleton, who has worked for Hopscotch Nursery for 17 years, said: “I am pleased to announce a
complete refurbishment of the nursery garden. It was a pleasure to invite the Mayor of Seaford, Mark Brown, to help formally open the new garden. This is a wonderful new resource to benefit all the children who attend Hopscotch.”

Mayor Brown said: “I would like to congratulate the team at Hopscotch for their great facilities and all of the wonderful work they do for the children, it’s extremely well-planned and laid out and is very much a child-friendly area. It’s a pleasure to see an organisation like this working to see children grow and flourish”
