TIDE MILLS MONTHLY CLEAN-UP REPORT

October 20 2014.

Jim Skinner reports:

Friends of Tide Mills Group held its October meeting yesterday, with 14 of our members collecting 13 sacks of rubbish, which given the recent spate of gales is not too bad.

Hopefully your readers will be aware of the Palm Oil, pictured here, a white waxy type material, which is being washed ashore at the moment - This is poisonous to gogs and should only be handled with gloves.

Our next meeting is Sunday the 16th of November, (always the third Sunday of each month), meeting at 10.00am at the waymarker adjacent to the beach at the road leading from the level crossing.

Our meetings last nominally for two hours, but all are welcome no matter how much time can be spared.

Please do join us. We really are seeing major progress now in the care of this wonderful place.
