SEAFORD ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

October 14 2014.

Police were called to a detached house in Belgrave Road, Seaford, on Friday, (October the 10th), after the owner returned home and found someone had tried to break in, damaging a rear door panel in the process. Nothing was stolen.

Officers have conducted house-to-house enquiries in the area and people are being reminded to check the general security of their homes.

Two white youths in hoodies were seen in the area at about the time the break-in was attempted, but police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or who has other information which may help them trace those responsible.

They are asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1418 of 10/10. Alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers free and anonymously on 0800 555 111.
