FRIENDS OF TIDE MILLS - SEPTEMBER REPORT
September 22 2014.
Jim Skinner writes:
The Friends of Tide Mills Group met at Tide Mills yesterday for its September meeting and clear-up, with 21 of our members collecting just nine sacks of rubbish. Considering the fantastic summer weather we have all enjoyed this year, the amount of litter generally is at an all time low. This is very heartening for us and as always we thank all those who take their litter home. This really does make a difference.
Our next meeting is Sunday the 19th October - always the third Sunday of each month - meeting at 10.00am at the waymarker adjacent to the beach at the road leading from the level crossing. Our meetings last nominally for two hours, but all are welcome no matter how much time can be spared.
