THE LISTENING BANK - MAIL

September 16 2014.

DISGRACE

An absolute disgrace.

HSBC didn't listen to its customers, the Town Council, or the MP.

One saving grace is that the cars that illegally drove up the pedestrian precinct and parked on the pavement to use the cash point, will now only have the Post Office to park outside (illegally).

I hope those business and personal customers that relied on the branch have withdrawn their custom, rather than made the expensive decision to switch to Peacehaven or Seaford branches.

The decision was a belligerent and short-sighted move by both HSBC and previously by NatWest.

All we need is another round of Post Office closures and there'll be no cash machines or banking facilities in the town at all.
