Seaford Town Council has announced that its new Deputy Young Mayor is Gabrielle Edwards. In the ballot for the post it was a very close result with a difference of less than 50 votes between the two candidates out of 300 votes in total.

Gabrielle was presented with her chain of office by Mayor Brown.

“I feel very proud to be chosen for Deputy Young Mayor and I look forward to representing the youth of Seaford over the coming 2 years,” said Gabrielle.

As Deputy Young Mayor Gabrielle's duties will include attending public events and supporting the Young Mayor.
