JOIN THE COASTAL FUTURES GROUP

July 4 2014.

Long term sea level rise as a result of climate change is the major threat to our low lying coastal areas. These will look and function very differently in the future and coastal communities will have to learn to adapt to new pressures.

A rise in sea level of two meters or more is likely beyond 2150 and decisions taken by communities now will determine how they will be able to cope with these changes in future.

Interested in finding out more or getting involved?

There is a display of the Coastal Communities 2150 project’s climate change resources for Newhaven, Seaford and Lewes at the Hillcrest Centre on Monday, July the 7th, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

New members are invited to join the group for 4 meetings a year.
